Oorsig

Grade 1 Radiograaf gesoek vir Witbank Hospital om diagnostiese beelding uit te voer, pasiëntsorg te verseker, en stralingsbeskermingsstandaarde te handhaaf.

Vereistes

• Senior Certificate / Grade 12 plus 'n toepaslike kwalifikasie wat die vereiste registrasie by die Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in die tersaaklike professie (waar van toepassing) moontlik maak (2026).
• Grade 1: SA gekwalifiseerde werknemers: Geen na registrasie by die HPCSA in die tersaaklike professie (waar van toepassing) ten opsigte van werknemers wat Gemeenskapsdiens gedoen het, soos in SA vereis nie.
• Buitelandse gekwalifiseerde werknemers: Een (1) jaar tersaaklike ervaring na registrasie by die HPCSA in die tersaaklike professie (waar van toepassing) ten opsigte van werknemers vir wie dit nie vereis word om Gemeenskapsdiens te doen nie, soos in SA vereis.
• Hospitaalervaring en uitgebreide kennis van Beroepsgesondheid en Veiligheid sal 'n bykomende voordeel wees.
• Goeie interpersoonlike vaardighede, skriftelike, mondelinge en aanbiedingsvaardighede.
• Akkuraatheid en aandag tot besonderhede.
• Vermoë om onder druk te werk.
• Vermoë en bereidwilligheid om te reis.
• Goeie interpersoonlike verhoudinge, leierskapsvaardigheid.
• Geldige bestuurderslisensie.

Pligte

• Verseker pasiëntsorg tydens beelding vir optimale diagnostiese doeleindes: Verduidelik prosedures aan pasiënte, berei pasiënt voor vir beelding, Bied hulp aan en posisioneer pasiënt vir beelding, voer beelding uit.
• Pas stralingsbeskerming toe om stralingsdosis aan personeel, pasiënte en die algemene publiek te verminder: Bepaal LMC-status van vroulike pasiënte, hou by stralingsveiligheidsstandaarde (versekerde area, loodvoorskote ens), Pas korrekte stralings/blootstellingsfaktore toe (korrekte dosisse), Oefen kliniese verantwoordelikheid uit om optimale diagnostiese beelding te verseker: Interpreteer kliniese geskiedenis van pasiënte om die korrekte prosedure te bepaal, verseker korrekte posisionering van pasiënt om stralingsblootstelling aan die pasiënt te verminder, verseker korrekte identifikasie van pasiëntbeeld (naam, loodmerkers ens.).
• Neem deel aan opvoedings- en opleidingsprogramme vir deurlopende professionele ontwikkeling en gehalte dienslewering: Praktiese opleiding en evaluering van studente.
• Implementeer gehaltesekerheidsprogramme vir gehalte dienslewering, Kontroleer/toets stralingstoerusting en rapporteer foute, pas verwerpsingsanalise toe, hou by beleide en protokolle.
