Vereistes

• MBChB-graad (kwalifikasie) wat registrasie by die HPCSA as 'n Mediese Praktisyn moontlik maak by die Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as 'n Mediese Praktisyn (2026) (Onafhanklike Praktyk). 'n Geldige werkpermit sal van nie-Suid-Afrikaners vereis word.
• Deeglike kennis van mediese etiek.
• Multidissiplinêre bestuur en spanwerk en ervaring in die onderskeie mediese dissipline.
• Kennis van huidige gesondheids- en openbare diensregulasies en -beleide.
• Addisionele ervaring in Verloskunde & Ginekologie, Neurochirurgie, Anestesiologie, Urologie en KNO sal as aanbeveling dien.
• Vaardighede ten opsigte van konsultasies, anamnese, ondersoek, kliniese assessering en kliniese bestuur.
• Grade 2: 'n Minimum van vyf (5) jaar se ervaring na registrasie by die HPCSA as Mediese Praktisyn (Onafhanklike Praktyk). 'n Minimum van ses (6) jaar relevante ervaring na registrasie by 'n erkende buitelandse gesondheidsberoepsraad en/of die HPCSA as 'n Mediese Praktisyn (Onafhanklike Praktyk) vir buiteland gekwalifiseerde werknemers.
• Vereiste Kennis, Vaardighede, Opleiding en Bevoegdhede: Deeglike kennis van mediese etiek.
• Multidissiplinêre bestuur en spanwerk en ervaring in die onderskeie mediese dissipline.
• Deeglike kliniese kennis, bevoegdheid en vaardighede in algemene kliniese domeine.
• Die vermoë om onder toesig as 'n doeltreffende spanlid te werk.
• Goeie kommunikasie-, leierskaps-, interpersoonlike en toesighoudende vaardighede.
• Vermoë om pasiënte onafhanklik, ywerig en verantwoordelik te bestuur en waar nodig te raadpleeg.
• Kennis van huidige gesondheidsbeleid, -wetgewing, -programme en -prioriteite binne die domein.
• Vermoë om junior personeel binne die departement te onderrig en te lei.
• Gedragskenmerke: Stresverdraagsaamheid, om binne 'n span te werk, selfvertroue en die vermoë om goeie verhoudings te bou en te handhaaf.

Pligte

• Om pligte en funksies met bekwaamheid uit te voer om die doelstellings en oogmerke van die Instelling te ondersteun wat in ooreenstemming is met standaarde van pasiëntsorg.
• Verantwoordelikheid aanvaar vir die bestuur van pasiënte wat in 'n vlak 2/3-diensfasiliteit opgeneem is.
• Behulpzaam wees met die voorbereiding en implementering van riglyne en protokolle.
• Deelneem aan akademiese en opleidingsprogramme.
• Behulpzaam wees met kliniese oudits en aktief deelneem aan deurlopende professionele ontwikkeling.
• Ondersteuning aan hospitaalbestuur verleen sodat 'n doeltreffende standaard van pasiëntsorg en dienste gehandhaaf word.
