Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasie: Soos vereis deur die opleidingsfasiliteit en die South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) plus Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant-kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die SAPC as 'n Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) of Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) Institutional moontlik maak.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by die SAPC as 'n Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) (Institutional) of Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic).
• Ervaring: Graad 1: Geen na registrasie by die SAPC as 'n Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic).
• Graad 2: 'n Minimum van 5 jaar se toepaslike ervaring na registrasie as 'n Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) by die SAPC.
• Graad 3: 'n Minimum van 13 jaar se relevante ervaring na registrasie as 'n Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) by die SAPC.
• Innewoonse vereiste van die werk: Geldige (Kode B/EB) bestuurslisensie.
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Goede rekenaarvaardigheid.
• Vermoë om as deel van 'n span of onafhanklik te werk.
• Vermoë om onder druk te werk.
• Akkuraatheid en aandag aan detail.
• Goeie begrip van Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP).
• Etiese werkspraktyk en nakoming.

Pligte

• Betekenisvolle betrokkenheid by sleutelbelanghebbendes.
• Bestuur en koördinering van private verskaffers vir NTSS.
• Direkte dienslewering by Primary Health Care-fasiliteite binne NTSS op 'n roterende basis.
• Bystand aan private verskaffers met voorraad- en apteekverwante navrae.
• Bystand met die uitreik van farmaseutiese produkte en gehalte-verskaffing van Pharmaceutical Care.
• Bystand met die beheer van voorraad deur die veilige en betroubare verkryging, berging, beheer en verspreiding van gehalte-farmaseutiese middels te bestuur.
• Bystand met die samestelling en organisering van inligting vir navorsingsdoeleindes en enige redelike werksverwante versoeke binne die omvang van praktyk van die Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic).
