Mediese Spesialis in Urologie gesoek by Groote Schuur Hospital, Observatory, om chirurgie, klinieke en opleiding oor drie vlakke te behartig met salarisse wat wissel van R1,395,528 tot R1,844,151 per jaar.

Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasies: Toepaslike kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Mediese Spesialis in Urologie toelaat.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by die HPCSA as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Urologie.
• Ervaring: Vlak 1: Geen na registrasie by HPCSA as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Urologie.
• Vlak 2: 'n Minimum van 5 jaar se toepaslike ervaring na registrasie by die HPCSA (of erkende buitelandse Health Professional Council ten opsigte van 'n buiteland gekwalifiseerde werknemer) as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Urologie.
• Vlak 3: 'n Minimum van 10 jaar se toepaslike ervaring na registrasie by die HPCSA (of erkende buitelandse Health Professional Council ten opsigte van 'n buiteland gekwalifiseerde werknemer) as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Urologie.
• Intrinsieke vereistes van die werk: Pendel-oortyd is verpligtend.
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Vermoë om urologiese chirurgie op 'n tersiêre vlak uit te voer.
• Ondersoekervaring hê.
• Ervaring in Volwasse en Pediatrise Urologie, nieroorplanting, laparoskopiese chirurgie, trauma, endourologiese en onkologiese chirurgie.

Pligte

• Dra by tot voor- en nagraadse opleiding en die navorsingsagenda van die Afdeling.
• Reël en dra by tot die opleidingskursusse in chirurgiese vaardighede.
• Hou toesig op dagchirurgie, chirurgiese klinieke en chirurgiese noodgevalle.
• Toesig en uitvoering van majeur Urologie-chirurgie, Laparoskopiese chirurgie, laparoskopiese chirurgie, trauma, endourologiese en onkologiese chirurgie.
• Die bestuur van spesialis urologiese pasiënte binne die Afdeling Urologie en by verwante hospitale aan Groote Schuur Hospital.
• Om dienste te lewer (operatief en OPD-konsultasie) by Eerste River en Western Cape Rehabilitation Hospitals.

This includes Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital, New Somerset Hospital, Mitchells Plein District Hospital, Victoria Hospital and George Provincial Hospital. It will be expected of candidates to be available for selection interviews on a date, time and place as determined by the Department. Kindly note that excess personnel will receive preference. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment.
