Assistentdirekteur vir makro-ekonomiese analise by Provinsiale Tesourie in Johannesburg, wat 'n Honneursgraad in Ekonomie of Finansies plus drie jaar se relevante ervaring vereis.

Vereistes

• Relevante tersiêre kwalifikasie in Ekonomie/Ekonometrie/Finansies op NQF-vlak 8 bv.
• Honneursgraad. 3 jaar funksionele ervaring in Ekonomie of Finansies en/of verwante velde.
• Kennis en begrip van MFMA, Tesourieregulasies, rekeningkundige beginsels en PFMA.

Pligte

• Bepaal en evalueer ekonomiese parameters en sosio-ekonomiese parameters en imperatiewe binne die provinsiale en makro-ekonomiese konteks.
• Analiseer sleutel ekonomiese veranderlikes hul onderlinge verhoudings en relevansie vir die begroting.
• Voer periodieke analise, onderhoud en opdatering van provinsiale sosio-ekonomiese aanwysers uit en doen navorsing wat bydra tot departementele publikasies.
• Ondersteun die Adjunkdirekteur deur hoofstukke in die navorsingspublikasies van die Makro-Ekonomiese Analise-eenheid te produseer.
• Voer ekonometriese modellering vir navorsing uit en verskaf ekonomiese inligting om ad hoc-versoeke te beantwoord.
• Ondersteun die Begrotingsbestuur-eenheid deur navorsing te doen en bydraes tot die ekonomiese afdeling van die Skattings van Provinsiale Inkomste en Uitgawes (EPRE) in te dien.
• Voer ekonometriese modellering vir navorsing, analise en vooruitskatting van tendense uit om beleidmakers in te lig oor die potensiële toekomstige impak van hul besluite en die ontvouende gebeure in die ekonomie.
• Bly op hoogte van alle ekonomiese tendense beide plaaslik en internasion sodat die impak daarvan op die provinsiale ekonomie vooruit gesien kan word.
