Oorsig

Die Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture soek 'n intern om kuns- en kultuurprojekte, vergaderings en belanghebbende-databasisse in die Alfred Nzo District te ondersteun.

Vereistes

• National Senior Certificate/Matric Certificate/Grade 12 met 'n driejaargraad/Nasionale Diploma (NQF 6) soos deur SAQA erken in Arts and Culture Studies/Arts Management/History/Fine Arts/Performing Arts.
• Bachelor of Arts/Social Science met as hoofvak een van die volgende of verwante velde: Music, Dance & Drama, Visual Arts, Film, Fashion Designing.
• Wees 'n Suid-Afrikaanse burger.
• Moet geen strafblad hê nie.
• Aansoekers moet werkloos wees en voorheen nog nooit aan 'n internskapprogramme deelgeneem het nie.

Pligte

• Bystand verleen met die ontwikkeling van konsepdokumente.
• Reël vergaderings en neem notule.
• Bystand verleen met die ontwikkeling van begroting en implementering van die Operasionele Plan.
• Bystand verleen met monitering van befondsde Arts and Culture-projekte.
• Ontwikkel en werk die Distrik-databasis vir belanghebbendes by.
• Vestig en handhaaf werksverhoudinge met belanghebbendes.
• Stel projekverslae op.
• Implementeer Arts & Culture-projekte.
• Stel maandelikse verslae vir die afdeling op.
• Bystand verleen met die implementering van geleenthede.
• Implementeer uitreikprogramme.
• Bystand verleen met verkryging in die afdeling.
• Verskaf algemene administratiewe ondersteuning.

The Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts & Culture is offering an internship programme. The programme will be for a non-renewable period of 24 months. Unemployed Graduates are invited to apply and be in possession of the National Diploma / Degree as indicated in the requirements below. Applicants who previously underwent or are currently on an internship programme will not be considered. The objective of the Internship program within the public service, is to address the problem of youth unemployment, especially tertiary (university and Technikon) graduates by providing them with work experience opportunities in the public service. As per the Directive issued by DPSA on the employment of persons to developmental programmes in the public service: Internship, Learnership, Apprenticeship, Graduate recruitment schemes and related programmes, this Internship programme is specifically aimed at the following: Interns need to be graduates and unemployed. Interns need to be within their specific demographic area. The internship should not exceed a period of 24 months, meaning candidates cannot enter into an internship program more than once. During the tenure of the contract, the youth will receive continuous learning and development interventions to improve their skills through on-the-job training initiatives for optimal performance and to equip them for future employment.
