Vereistes

  • Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat plus 'n driejaar Graad/Diploma (NQF vlak 6) soos erken deur SAQA in Sportbestuur / Sportadministrasie / Menslike Bewegingstudies / Ontspanning en Vryetydstudies / Sportafrigting en Menslike Wetenskappe / Sport- en Oefenwetenskap / Sport- en Oefentegnologie gepaard met drie (3) jaar se relevante ervaring in 'n Sport- en Ontspanningsomgewing op Senior/offisiersvlak of SL 7/8 in die veld van Sport en Ontspanning.

  • Koördineer die implementering van skoolsportprogramme en distrik se seisoenale skoolsportkampioenskappe (NSSC).
  • Implementeer strategiese vennootskapprogramme met die skoolsportsektor.
  • Fasiliteer die ondersteuning van skole wat aan ligas en feeste deelneem en die verskaffing van toerusting en kleding.
  • Fasiliteer die vestiging van ten volle ontwikkelde skoolsportstrukture en die ondersteuning van skoolsportstrukture.
  • Ontwikkel 'n databasis van skole binne sonale en sirkel-opvoedkundige gebiede.
  • Hou gereelde vergaderings met die Departement van Onderwys om skoolsportprogramme te beplan, te implementeer en te monitor.
  • Formuleer sleutel- en strategiese vennootskappe met plaaslike belanghebbendes en NPO's/NGO's ter ondersteuning van skoolsportprogramme.
  • In samewerking met die DoE en skoolsportstrukture, fasiliteer die voorlegging van afgevaardigdes vir opleiding en opleidingskursusse in die Provinsie.
  • Verskaf maandelikse, kwartaallikse, semester- en jaarlikse prestasie- en bestuursverslae oor die skoolsport.
  • Fasiliteer die jaarlikse registrasie van skole in die skoolsportprogram.
  • Fasiliteer belanghebbende-betrokkenheidsessies met die skoolsportsektor om te beplan vir die ontwikkeling van die jaarlikse bedryfsplan.
  • Koördineer die verskaffing van nie-finansiële ondersteuning wat aan skole en skoolsportstrukture verskaf sal word.
  • Bestuur die skoolsportbegroting en die inkoop van goedere en dienste ooreenkomstig die jaarlikse bedryfsplan en voorwaardelike toelaervereistes.
  • Dien alle voorwaardelike toelaerapporteringsvereistes in ooreenkomstig die voorwaardelike toelaeraamwerk en departementele rapporteringsvereistes.
  • Ontwikkel 'n jaarlikse skoolsportplan in samewerking met alle skoolsportbelanghebbendes.
  • Monitor en evalueer die implementering van skoolsportprogramme.

One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements, and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. The Selection Panel will recommend candidates to attend a generic Managerial Competency Assessment in compliance with the DPSA Directive on the implementation of Competency-based Assessment.
