Adjunkdirekteur-pos in die Western Cape Government wat fokus op die vermindering van regulatoriese rooi linte en die fasilitering van ekonomiese groei, wat 'n diploma of graad en drie jaar bestuurservaring vereis.

Vereistes

  • 'n Toepaslike 3-jaar Nasionale Diploma/B-Degree (ekwivalent of hoër kwalifikasie); 'n Minimum van 3 jaar bestuurservaring; 'n Geldige (Kode B of hoër) bestuurslisensie.
  • NB: Mense met gestremdhede wat bestuursvermoëns beperk, maar wat redelike toegang tot vervoer het, mag ook aansoek doen.
  • Bevoegdhede: Kennis van die volgende: Nasionale en Provinsiale instrumente en wetgewing met betrekking tot Strategie-ontwikkeling en Belanghebbende-bestuur;
  • Globale, streeks- en plaaslike politieke, ekonomiese en sosiale aangeleenthede wat 'n impak het op die provinsiale regering van die Western Cape;
  • Konstitusionele, regs- en institutionele reëlings wat die Suid-Afrikaanse openbare sektor regeer;
  • SMME-sektor, insluitend beleide, dominante kwessies, rolspelers en diensverskaffers.
  • Vaardighede in die volgende: Skriftelike en mondelinge kommunikasie;
  • Rekenaarvaardigheid in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);. Analities;. Verslagskrywing;
  • Interpersoonlike vaardighede;
  • Vermoë om onafhanklik en as deel van 'n span te werk.

  • Identifiseer blokkades en hindernisse vir ekonomiese groei en ontwikkeling;
  • Bepleit en skep bewustheid onder belanghebbendes oor die belangrikheid van rooi linte;

Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. The successful candidate will be required to complete the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme (Nyukela) and submit the certificate before he/she can be appointed to this post. The purpose of the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme, which is a public service specific training programme applicable to all applicants who aspire to join the SMS, is to ensure that potential SMS members have a background in processes and procedures linked to the SMS. The duration of the online Pre-Entry Programme is 120 notional hours (15 days). The successful candidate will be required to enter into an employment contract and a performance agreement.
