Spesialis benodig by die Department of Electricity and Energy Hoofkantoor in Pretoria om die ontwikkeling van die SOC-beleidsraamwerk en belyning van aandeelhouerskompakte te ondersteun.
Vereistes
- 'n Relevante nagraadse kwalifikasie in Energy Studies/Engineering/ Electrical, Power Systems Management op NQF Level 8 erken deur die South African Qualification Authority (SAQA), plus die voor-toelatingsertifikaat vir SMS (Nyukela).
- Minimum van 5 jaar se navorsingservaring op MMS-vlak.
- Kennis van: Kennis van Energy-wetgewing en beleid, die energiebedryf Energie regulerende toesig, Energietegnologie, veiligheid en nie-verspreiding, Finansiële bestuur, Projekbestuur, Navorsing, Publieke diens Kennis en begrip van DEE-beleide, funksies, projekte, ens.
- Strategiese beplanning Regeringsbeleide.
- Vaardighede: Probleemoplossing, Kommunikasie (mondelings, skriftelik, skakeling), Beïnvloedingsvaardighede, Onderhandelingsvaardighede, Bewese bestuursvaardighede, Bestuurs- en organisasievaardighede, Gevorderde analitiese vaardighede, Goeie interpersoonlike verhoudinge op alle vlakke, Konflikbestuursvaardighede, Kreatiwiteit en innovasie, Numeriese Organisering en koördinering, Fasilitering en implementering Finansiële bestuur, Onderhandeling en konsultasievaardighede, Probleemoplossing en analise, Strategiese vermoë en leierskap Veranderingsbestuur.

Pligte
- Verskaf tegniese ondersteuning met prosesse vir die ontwikkeling en instandhouding van die regering se oorkoepelende SOC-beleidsraamwerk vir die SOC(s) en geaffilieerdes in die Energy Complex.
- Verskaf tegniese ondersteuning met prosesse om die belyning van Aandeelhouerskompakte vir die SOC(s) in die Energy Complex te fasiliteer.
- Doen navorsing om die besigheidsbedrywighede en prestasie van die Energy Complex te verbeter.
- Verseker die doeltreffende, doeltreffende en ekonomiese benutting van hulpbronne wat aan navorsings- en modelleringsprojekte toegewys is.

One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. All applicants for SMS posts will be also subjected to a technical exercise and an interview. Following the interview and technical exercise, then the selection panel will recommend candidates to attend a generic managerial competency assessment using the mandated DPSA SMS competency assessment tools. No SMS post appointment shall be implemented without the relevant candidate producing the pre-entry certificate for SMS (Nyukela) obtainable from www.thensg.gov.za . Suitable candidates will be subjected to a personnel suitability check (criminal record, citizenship, credit record checks, qualification verification and employment verification).
