Sekuriteitsbeampte benodig by die Department of Water and Sanitation Pretoria Hoofkantoor om toegangsbeheer uit te voer, gebouveiligheid te verseker en toerustingbeweging tydens skofwerk te monitor.

Vereistes

• 'n Senior/Grade 12 (Matric) op NQF vlak 4. 'n Geldige Grade C Sekuriteitsopleidingskursus-sertifikaat. en 'n geldige Grade C PSIRA-sertifikaat.
• Een (1) tot (2) twee jaar se ervaring in die sekuriteitsveld sal as 'n bykomende voordeel dien.
• Kennis van die toegangsbeheerprosedures.
• Kennis van maatreëls vir die beheer en beweging van toerusting en voorrade.
• Kennis van voorgeskrewe sekuriteitsprosedures (bv.
• MISS, MPSS, Protection of Information Act, ens).
• Kennis van die tersaaklike noodprosedures. Verslagdoeningsvaardighede.
• In staat om onder druk te werk.
• In staat om lang ure en skofte te werk.
• Ondersoek- en onlustebeheervaardighede.
• Effektiewe kommunikasievaardighede.
• Eerste hulp en brandvoorkoming bekwaamhede.
• Deursoekings- en ontruimingsvaardighede.

Pligte

• Voer toegangsbeheerfunksies uit.
• Verseker veiligheid in die gebou en perseel.
• Verseker dat toerusting, dokumente en voorrade nie sonder magtiging die gebou of perseel verlaat of betree nie.
• Verseker dat alle voorvalle in die voorkomsboek/registers aangeteken word.
• Bedryf beheer vanuit die beheerkamer se sekuriteitstoerusting.
• Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal verlang word om skofte te werk, insluitend nagshifts, naweke en openbare vakansiedae.

Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. A pre-entry certificate obtained from the National School of government is required prior to the appointment. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance. Foreigners or dual citizenship holders must provide a police clearance certificate from country of origin (only when shortlisted). The Department of Water Sanitation is an equal opportunity employer.
