Die Department of Water and Sanitation soek 'n geregistreerde Professionele Ingenieurstegnoloog om gespesialiseerde tegnologiese adviesdienste by sy Pretoria-hoofkantoor te lewer.

Vereistes

• 'n Baccalaureus in Tegnologie (BTech) in Siviele Ingenieurswese soos deur SAQA erken. 'n Minimum van ses (6) jaar se post-kwalifikasie ervaring as 'n Ingenieurstegnoloog/Tegnikus.
• Verpligte registrasie by ECSA as 'n Professionele Ingenieurstegnoloog.
• Die openbaarmaking van 'n geldige, onvervalle Code EB bestuurderslisensie (behalwe vir persone met gestremdhede).
• Agetoonde ervaring in die lewer van tegnologiese adviesdienste, insluitend die evaluering en gehaltversekering van tegniese ontwerpe, tekeninge en spesifikasies, en die maak van aanbevelings vir goedkeuring deur die toepaslike owerheid.
• Ervaring in die beplanning en lewer van tegnologiese en/of tegniese ondersteuning aan ingenieurs op waterverwante infrastrukture.
• Bewese praktiese ervaring in die mentorering van gegradueerde interns en die fasilitering van opleiding en ontwikkeling.
• Kennis van ECSA se professionele mentoringsvereistes sal 'n voordeel wees.
• Deeglike kennis van kontrakadministrasie en projekbestuur, met bewese vermoë om tegniese tekeninge en ontwerpe te interpreteer en te hersien.
• Begrip van openbare-sektor verkrygingsprosesse en finansiële beplanning en bestuursbeginsels.
• Kennis van toepaslike wetgewing, insluitend die National Water Act, Water Services Act, omgewingswetgewing, en die Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
• Vertroudheid met standaardvorms van kontrakte wat in infrastruktuurprojekte gebruik word.
• Sterk kommunikasie-, konflikbestuurs-, geskilbeslegtings- en onderhandelingsvaardighede.
• Rekenaargeletterdheid, insluitend vaardigheid in MS Office-programme en MS Project.
• Ervaring met ontwerpssagteware soos AutoCAD Civil 3D sal 'n voordeel wees.
• Bereidwilligheid en vermoë om kandidate te mentor en te lei na professionele registrasie. registrasies.

• Pas gevestigde ingenieurstechnieke en -prosedures toe om breed gedefinieerde ingenieursuitdagings op te los.
• Dra by tot die koördinering, samestelling en struktuur van tenderdokumentasie in ooreenstemming met CIDB Beste Praktyk Riglyne, insluitend die ontwikkeling van spesifikasies vir werke.
• Ondersteun kontrakadministrasie- en projeksbestuursfunksies.
• Skakel met toepaslike liggame en rade aangaande ingenieursverwante aangeleenthede.
• Onderhou doeltreffende belanghebbende verhoudings en ondersteun projeksimplementeringsdoelwitte.
• Neem deel aan voortgesette professionele ontwikkeling om tred te hou met ontluikende tegnologieë, standaarde en beste praktyke in siviele ingenieursinfrastruktuurlewering.

A pre-entry certificate obtained from the National School of government is required prior to the appointment. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance.
