Vereistes
- 'n Minimum driedelige tersiêre kwalifikasie (NQF Level 6/National Diploma)/ Bachelor's Degree met spesialisering in Rekenmeesterkunde.
- Werksverwante kennis: Kennis van Generally Recognized Accounting Practice, Public Financial Management Act, Treasury Regulations en ander gesonde finansiële bestuursvoorskrifte.
- Werksverwante vaardighede: Goeie interpersoonlike verhoudinge, tydbestuursvaardighede, rekenaargeletterdheid in Microsoft Excel en Word, goeie skriftelike en mondelinge kommunikasievaardighede, organiseer- en kantooradministrasievaardighede, goeie data-ontledings- en verslagvertolkingsvaardighede.
- Vermoe om onder druk te werk en styf sperdatums na te kom.
- Vermoe om oplossings vir 'n verskeidenheid probleme en interpretasies in ooreenstemming met riglyne en departementele beleid te ontwikkel.
- (Kennis van ERP-stelsels en toesighoudende vaardighede sal 'n bykomende voordeel wees).
Pligte
- Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal: Volledig gesteunde fakture/fakture en kwitansies op SAGE vaslê en verwerk.
- Akkurate eise/fakture opstel en aan die kliëntdepartemente uitreik.
- Verseker dat eise betyds aan die kliëntdepartemente en entiteite uitgereik word.
- Uitstaande geld van kliënte terugvorder.
- Afstemming van die kliëntrekenings uitvoer en uitsonderings uitklaar.
- Ouderdomsaniseer nagaan en beheer en wagrekenings uitklaar.
- Ondersteuning aan die bestuur van die eenheid verleen.
- Op alle oudit-inligtingsversoeke in die direktoraat reageer en inligting versamel om ouditnavrae op te los.
- Met streke skakel om interne navrae en navrae van debiteure op te los.
- Die eenheid se transaksiedokumente beveilig.
- Vorderings ten opsigte van debiteure vir die konsolidasie van die jaarlikse en tussentydse finansiële state vir ingevoer.
- Akkurate aanpassings- en jaareindejoernale voorberei en korrek klassifiseer in ooreenstemming met GRAP.

Entry level requirements for SMS posts: in terms of the Directive on Human Resource Management and Development on Public Service Professionalisation Volume 1 a requirement for appointment into SMS posts is the successful completion of the Senior Management Pre-Entry programme as endorsed by the National School of Governance (NSG). The course is available at the NSG under the name Certificate for entry into SMS and the full details can be obtained by following the below link: https: www.thensg.gov.za/training –course /sms-pre-entry programme/.All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment.
