Algemene Werker-poste oor negentien polisiestasies in die Oos-Kaap waar werkplekshygiene onderhou word en roetine skoonmaaktake verrig word.

Vereistes

  • Aansoeker moet bekwaamheid in die kernfunksies van die pos demonstreer.
  • Vaardig wees in minstens Engels en een ander amptelike taal. 'n Burger van die Republiek van Suid-Afrika wees waarvan dokumentêre bewys op die dag van die onderhoud moet voorgelê word.
  • In besit wees van 'n ABET Vlak 4/Graad 9/Standaard 7/sertifikaat/verslag (NKK Vlak 1 soos deur SAQA erken), waarvan dokumentêre bewys op aanvraag gelewer kan word.
  • Addisionele vereistes wat op die poste van K9-eenheid en Berge-eenheid van toepassing is: nie allergies wees vir stof/diere/gras nie.
  • Kennis, Vaardighede en Bevoegdhede: Verstaan van hoe skoonmaakmiddels hanteer word.
  • Beroepsveiligheids- en gesondheidsprotokolle.
  • Basiese geletterdheid, telkunde en kommunikasievermoë.
  • In staat wees om te lees en te skryf.
  • Vermoë om op 'n professionele manier met ander amptenare om te gaan;
  • Die vermoë om elementêre masjiene en toerusting bedryf te stel.
  • Bereid wees om uitgebreide ure te werk indien nodig.

Pligte

  • Handhawing van 'n hoë vlak van hygiene in en rondom die werkplek deur die skoonmaak van die aan jou toegewese SAPD-persele, wat óf die binne- en óf buiteperke óf beide kan insluit.
  • Verrigting van roetine-take, soos stofwissing.
  • Poliering van meubels en vloere.
  • Stofsuig van tapyt en skrobbing van teëlvloere.
  • Verwydering van afval.
  • Uitvoering van onderhouds-take in en rondom die toegewese perseel.
  • Skoonmaak van badkamers en kitchens.
  • Veilige bewaring en hantering van verskeie hulpmiddels by skoonmaak van die perseel.
  • Laai en aflaai van goedere. Tuinonderhoudsdienste.
  • Wassing en skoonmaak van staatsvoertuie, keukenware en gebruiksartikels.

The Criminal Law (Forensic Procedures) Amendment Act, Act 37 of 2013 requires that all new appointments in the South African Police Service as from 31 January 2015 provide a buccal (inside cheek) sample to determine their forensic DNA profile. The forensic DNA profile derived from the sample will be loaded to the Elimination Index of the National Forensic DNA Database. Appointments will be made in terms of the Public Service Act, 1994 (Act No 103 of 1994) as applicable to the post environment. Persons who retired from the Public Service by taking a severance package, early retirement or medical retirement, as well as persons with previous convictions, are excluded.
