Ondervoorsitter Direksie-generaal vir monitering en evaluering by die Departement van Vroue, Jeug en Persone met Gestremdhede, Pretoria.
Vereistes
- Die aansoeker moet in besit wees van 'n Graad 12-sertifikaat, toepaslike nagraadse kwalifikasie (NQF-vlak 8) soos deur SAQA erken in Sosiale Wetenskappe, Ontwikkelingstudies of verwante kwalifikasies; en 'n kwalifikasie van (NQF-vlak 9) en hoër sal 'n aanvullende voordeel wees;
- Sertifikaat van Suksesvolle Voltooing van die Nasionale Skool vir Regering se SMS Voortoetsingsprogram voor aanstelling.
- Minimum 8 jaar ervaring op 'n senior bestuursvlak.
- Bewese ervaring in aktiwisme in die gender-, jeug- en gestremdheidaktiwismes; ontwikkeling, hersiening en implementering van wetgewing en beleid oor sosio-ekonomiese transformasie, deelname en bemagtiging van vroue, jeug en persone met gestremdhede; belanghebbenderfbestuur op uitvoerende en gemeenskapsvlakke; bestuur van gender-, jeug- en gestremdheidresponsiewe beplanning, begroting, monitering, evaluering en oudit.
- Noue kennis van die wetgewingsraamwerk en regulatoriese vereistes wat verband hou met gender-, jeug- en gestremdheidbemagtiging en -deelname; beleidsformulering, interpretasie en implementering binne die regering; sosio-ekonomiese beleidsraamwerk; internasionale verbintenisse en instrumente relevant tot gender-, jeug- en gestremdheidvoorspraak en ondersteuning; mandaat en strategiese doelstellings van die Departement.
Pligte
- Bied deurlopende dienste in verband met Navorsing, Kennisbestuur, Internasionale Verhoudinge;
- Belanghebberdebestuur en Monitering en Evaluering vir Vroue, Jeug en Persone met Gestremdhede.
- Verseker navorsing en kennisbestuur oor die transformasie en regte van Vroue, Jeug en Persone met Gestremdhede; ontwikkel en implementeer 'n navorsingsstrategie oor transformasie en regte van Vroue, Jeug en Persone met Gestremdhede; stig en bestuur 'n gesentraliseerde bewyse-gebaseerde kennissentrum oor Vroue-, Jeug- en Gestremdheidstransformasiekwessies.
- Bestuur en koördineer die verskaffing van internasionale verhoudinge, belanghebbederdeelname en kapasiteitsbou vir Vroue, Jeug en Persone met Gestremdhede; bestuur die verskaffing van internasionale verhoudinge wat die regte van Vroue, Jeug en Persone met Gestremdhede bevorder; bestuur en koördineer belanghebberdedeelname in programme wat die regte van Vroue, Jeug en Persone met Gestremdhede bevorder; koördineer kapasiteitsbou oor integrasie vir Vroue, Jeug en Persone met Gestremdhede.
- Verseker effektiewe regering-wye monitering en evaluering van beleidsgewigtige aangeleenthede ten opsigte van die transformasie en bemagtiging van Vroue, Jeug en Persone met Gestremdhede; monitor die implementering van sleutelgewigtige aangeleenthede en regering-wye ingrypings ten opsigte van die transformasie en bemagtiging van Vroue, Jeug en Persone met Gestremdhede; evalueer die doeltreffendheid en impak wat bereik is ten opsigte van die transformasie en bemagtiging van Vroue, Jeug en Persone met Gestremdhede.
- Bestuur van die Tak: Monitering, Evaluering, Navorsing en Koördinering: doeltreffende, doelmatige en ekonomiese bestuur van die Begrotingsprogram en onderskeie Onderprogramme.

It is therefore prudent that fields be completed by applicants and signed, noting the importance of the declaration. South African applicants need not to provide passport numbers. Candidate must respond “Yes “or “No “to the question whether you are conducting business with the state. If “Yes”, details thereof only shortlisted candidates will submit Declaration form for conducting business with the state when shortlisted to the application. It is acceptable for applicant to indicate “not applicable” or leave a blank to the question “In the event that you are employed in the Public Service, will you immediately relinquish such business interest?” Applicants are not required to submit copies of qualifications and other relevant documents but must submit the completed and signed Z83 and detailed Curricula Vitae. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical skills that are generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Further, personnel suitability checks, including security vetting, competency assessment will be conducted, as such transfer/promotion/appointment will made subject to positive outcomes of personnel suitability checks. Successful candidates shall be required to enter into performance agreement within three (3) months of assuming their duties in the Department, and within one (1) month of the date of their appointment conclude the prescribed contract of employment. Designated employees shall be required to disclose their financial interest within 30 days after assumption of duty. Appointments will only be made on the first notch of the advertised salary level. Note that in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2021, the Department will ensure the protection of applicants ‘personal information and only collect, use and retain applicants’ personal information for the purposes of recruitment and selection processes.
