Onderhoud-voertuigoperateur met swaar-toerusting-ondervinding word vereis by verskeie Water- en Sanitasie-pompstasies landwyd.

Vereistes

• 'n NQF-vlak 4.
• Die openbaring van 'n geldige Code EC /EC1 (of ekwivalent) onverlepe bestuurslisensie met geldige PDP.
• Gesertifiseerde bevoegdheid /bedieningssertifikaat of relevante swaar plant-/masjinerie.
• Ten minste vyf (5) jaar se ondervinding in die bestuur van swaar motorvoertuie en bedryf van swaar toerusting.
• Verkeer- en padveiligeidsreëllings.
• Meganiese kennis van swaar voertuie en masjinerie.
• OHS-vereiste, Kennis van organisatoriese beleid, prosedures, proses en organisatoriese en staatsstrukture.
• Basiese kennis van tegniese dienste.
• Kennis van staatsreëllings, praktyknota's, sirkulêres en beleidsraamwerke. Delegasiebevoegdheid.
• Kennis van Finansiële bestuur en PFMA.
• Basiese rekordhouding- en verslagprosedures.

Pligte

• Verantwoordelik vir die uitvoering van kwaliteitsversekering van bestuurder-/operateurstelsels.
• Bedryf gespesialiseerde plant-/toerusting.
• Implementeer beste praktyk van bestuurder-/operateurstelsels.
• Verantwoordelik vir daaglikse padwaardigheidstoetsings.
• Verantwoordelik vir die versekering dat voertuie op tyd ingewarteld word.
• Analiseer logistieke operasies.
• Vervoer van werkspan en materiale /toerusting.
• Insameling van goedere by verskaffers en departementale winkels.
• Instandhouding van registrering van departement en bakkie's.
• Funksioneer in ooreenstemming met toepaslike wetgewingvereistes.
• Opspoor en herstel klein meganiese probleme op die voertuie /toerusting en neem stappe om dit te laat herstel.
• Roetine-instandhouding van toerusting.
• Roetine-inspeksie van sigbare gebreke om die buitekant van die toerusting en voertuie.
• Gee aandag aan spesiale versoeke.
• Registrasie van daaglikse ritte, brandstof- en vloeistofvlakke.
• Periodieke kontroles op voertuige-instandhoudingstandaarde.
• Verseker dat die plek waar toerusting gestoor word skoon is, om brandgevare te vermy.
• Naleving van Veiligheid en prosedures: verseker die veilige bewaring van toerusting en voertuie.
• Bystaan met instandhoudingswerk by meetstasies.
• Bystaan met vernuwing en konstruksiewerk by meetstasies.
• Bystaan die tegniese personeel met spesiale take.

All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. A pre-entry certificate obtained from the National School of government is required prior to the appointment. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance.
