Vereistes

• 'n Toepaslike Elektriese Vakbrevierteken.
• Vyf (5) jaar ervaring na kwalifikasie as Kunstenaar.
• Die openbaarmaking van 'n geldige, onvervalle bestuurslisensie.
• Kennis van tegniese analise, rekenaar-gesteunde toepassings, wetlike naleving, tegniese verslagskrywing en produksie, prosesbewustheid en vaardighede.
• Probleemoplossing en analitiese besluitneming, spanwerk en analitiese vaardighede.
• Kreatiwiteit, selfbestuur, klantefokus en responsiwiteit.
• Kommunikasievaardighede (beide mondelings en skriftelik) en rekenaargeletterdheid.
• Beplanning en organisasievermoë. Konflikbestuur.
• Vermogen om onafhanklik sowel as in 'n span te werk en vermogen om lang ure te werk en goed onder druk te presteer.
• Kennis van die Occupational Health and Safety Act, PMDS en PFMA.
• Tekenvermoë en vermogen om tekeninge te lees.

Pligte

• Toesig hou oor die ontwerp en produksie van tegniese dienste: Elektriese onderhoud en inspeksies van katodyese beskerming (TRUs).
• Toerusting vir tegniese foute inspekteer en volgens standaarde herken.
• Toesig hou oor die onderhoud van tegniese dienste.
• Onderhoud van bulk-rouwater-infrastruktuur (damme, waterbassinne, departementele huise, pomplokale en pypstelsels) en masjinerie.
• Toerusting volgens skedule dien.
• Kwaliteitsversekering in ooreenstemming met spesifikasies verseker.
• Beplande onderhoud implementeer en onderhoudlogboeke opdateer.
• Administratiewe en verwante funksies verrig.
• Foutdiagnose op SCADA/PLC- en telemetriesisteme.
• Naleving van veiligheidsstandaarde, vereistes en regulasies verseker.
• Verslae soos vereis samestelle en indien in.
• Menslike- en Kapitaalbronnbestuur.
• Voortdurende individuele ontwikkeling om tred te hou met nuwe tegnologieë en prosedures.

Candidates may be required to complete a practical and theoretical test. Please be advised that the office will transition to a SANWRI agency. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. A pre-entry certificate obtained from the National School of government is required prior to the appointment. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance.
